55W CO2 Laser for Wood, Acrylic and More
The xTool X1 features a 55W CO2 laser for cutting and engraving a wide range of materials.
CO2 laser technology is particularly suitable for wood, MDF, clear and colored acrylic, leather, paper, cardboard and other compatible non-metal materials.
Typical applications include:
Wooden decorations and personalized products
Acrylic displays, lettering and signage
Packaging, architectural models and prototypes
Leather accessories and labels
Components for creative and technical applications
According to xTool, the X1 can cut up to 18 mm basswood and 20 mm acrylic under suitable conditions. Actual cutting performance depends on the material, settings and processing conditions.
The CO2 laser reaches a maximum processing speed of 600 mm/s. The standard surface processing area measures 615 × 320 mm.
20W Diode Galvo for High-Speed Precision Engraving
In addition to the CO2 laser, this configuration includes a 20W Diode Galvo Module.
The module uses xTool Hybrid Motion technology, combining the movement of the machine with galvo mirrors. This enables detailed engraving at speeds up to 6,000 mm/s.
The diode galvo is particularly useful for:
Fine text, logos and illustrations
Detailed engraving on wood and leather
Fast product personalization
Engraving on compatible dark acrylic
Marking certain painted or coated metal surfaces
Repeated engraving jobs where speed matters
By combining CO2 and diode galvo technology, you can cut a wooden shape and then add fine engraving details within the same laser system.
The 20W Diode Galvo Module also provides the foundation for the included 5W UV laser through xTool Laser Swap.
5W UV Laser for Glass, Crystal and Technical Materials
The main advantage of the X1 UV configurations is the additional 5W UV laser source.
UV laser technology enables ultra-fine engraving with relatively low thermal impact. This makes it useful for materials that can be more difficult to process precisely with conventional CO2 or diode lasers.
Typical applications include:
Surface engraving on compatible glass and crystal
Internal engraving in transparent crystal objects
Small text, logos and identification codes
Detailed marking of engineering plastics
Engraving on compatible electronic components
Personalization of heat-sensitive materials
According to xTool, the 5W UV laser has a spot size of approximately 0.017 × 0.017 mm, enabling exceptionally fine details.
Actual results depend on material composition, transparency, focusing and processing settings.
Internal Engraving in Glass and Crystal
A particularly interesting application of the X1 UV is internal engraving inside compatible transparent glass and crystal.
Instead of engraving the outer surface, the laser is focused on specific points within the material. This allows text, logos and three-dimensional structures to be created inside the object without directly engraving its exterior.
This makes the X1 UV suitable for personalized crystal awards, promotional gifts, commemorative objects and decorative glass products.
Not all types of glass are suitable for internal engraving. Material composition, clarity, refractive index and dimensions are important. Accurate positioning and focusing also affect the final result.
The X1 provides these specialized UV capabilities within the same machine used for regular cutting and engraving.
RA3 Rotary Attachment for Cylindrical Products
One of the main advantages of this Versatile Bundle is the included xTool RA3 Rotary Attachment.
The RA3 allows you to engrave cylindrical and other compatible shaped products that cannot easily be placed flat on the machine's working surface.
Examples include:
Glasses and mugs
Bottles and tumblers
Vases and decorative objects
Other compatible cylindrical products
The rotary attachment rotates the product during engraving, allowing designs to be applied around its surface.
The RA3 features the MagSwap system, which supports different rotary configurations depending on the shape and dimensions of the product.
For creative businesses and engraving companies, this creates additional possibilities for personalized drinkware, promotional gifts, decorative products and small production runs.
The appropriate laser source depends on the material and desired engraving. The CO2 laser can engrave certain glass surfaces, while the UV laser offers opportunities for very fine details on compatible products.
Intelligent Conveyor Feeder for Longer Materials
The second important accessory included in this bundle is the xTool X1 Intelligent Conveyor Feeder.
This automatic feeding system allows you to process materials longer than the machine's standard working area.
The conveyor feeds material through the X1 in a controlled way, enabling designs to extend across a greater length.
Typical applications include:
Longer wooden panels
Signage and display projects
Elongated acrylic parts
Decorative patterns and larger designs
Components for interior and presentation applications
According to xTool, a suitable conveyor setup with two conveyor rails can process materials up to approximately 300 cm long. The required configuration and any additional rails depend on the application.
The Intelligent Conveyor Feeder therefore provides additional flexibility for users who regularly work with larger or elongated materials.
Important: When using the Intelligent Conveyor Feeder, the X1 operates as a Class 4 laser device according to xTool. Additional safety measures are required, and this configuration is intended for trained users. Accessible Class 3B laser radiation may also be present during optical alignment when the 5W UV laser is installed. Always follow xTool's safety instructions.
Three Laser Technologies in One Workflow
Combining CO2, diode galvo and UV technology makes the xTool X1 particularly versatile.
For example, you can cut a wooden product using the CO2 laser and then add fine engraving details using the diode galvo. For a different product, the UV laser can be used to create ultra-fine markings or internal engravings in compatible crystal.
The different laser technologies operate within one integrated system. Each source is activated for the appropriate processing stage rather than emitting simultaneously.
The included RA3 Rotary Attachment adds capabilities for cylindrical products, while the Intelligent Conveyor Feeder allows you to process longer materials.
Together, these features create an extensive setup for product personalization, specialized engraving, prototyping and small production runs.
Intelligent Camera System and Autofocus
The xTool X1 features an integrated ACS camera system that helps position materials and prepare cutting or engraving jobs.
The system includes:
8MP overview camera
12MP close-up camera
Ranging camera
LiDAR ranging
Autofocus
With xTool Studio, you can prepare designs, position materials and control the different laser processes.
For specialized applications such as internal crystal engraving, correct material settings and focusing procedures are especially important.
