xTool xTool X1 Fiber Bundle – 55W CO2 Laser Cutter with 20W Diode Galvo and 30W Fiber Laser

xTool X1 Fiber Bundle – Laser Cutting and Professional Metal Engraving in One Machine
The xTool X1 Fiber Bundle combines three laser technologies in one modular laser system. The 55W CO2 laser cuts and engraves wood, acrylic and other compatible materials. The 20W Diode Galvo Module enables fast, detailed engraving, while the additional 30W fiber laser is designed for permanent metal marking, deeper engraving and relief structures.
This makes the X1 Fiber particularly interesting for businesses looking to combine creative production with metal personalization and technical marking.
Typical applications include stainless steel products, metal nameplates, tools, serial numbers, QR codes, aluminum components and other products requiring durable identification.
What's Included in the xTool X1 Fiber Bundle?
This configuration combines three laser sources:
| Component | Function |
|---|---|
| xTool X1 55W CO2 Laser | Cutting and engraving wood, acrylic, leather and other compatible non-metals |
| xTool 20W Diode Galvo Module | High-speed precision engraving with Hybrid Motion technology |
| xTool 30W Fiber Laser Source | Permanent metal marking, metal engraving and relief structures |
The package also includes the standard components supplied by xTool with this configuration.
Not included in the standard bundle:
RA3 Rotary Attachment
Intelligent Conveyor Feeder
X1 Mobile Work Stand
SafetyPro AP2 Air Purifier
5W UV laser source
60W MOPA laser source
These accessories and additional laser sources are available separately or included in more extensive X1 configurations.
55W CO2 Laser for Wood, Acrylic and More
The 55W CO2 laser is particularly suitable for cutting and engraving wood, MDF, clear and colored acrylic, leather, paper, cardboard and other compatible non-metal materials.
Applications include wooden decorations, acrylic displays, signage, packaging, architectural models and personalized products.
The standard processing area measures 615 × 320 mm, with a maximum CO2 processing speed of 600 mm/s.
According to xTool, the X1 can cut up to 18 mm basswood and 20 mm acrylic under suitable conditions. Actual cutting performance depends on material properties and processing parameters.
20W Diode Galvo for High-Speed Precision Engraving
The included 20W Diode Galvo Module uses xTool Hybrid Motion technology, combining machine movement with galvo mirrors to achieve engraving speeds up to 6,000 mm/s.
The diode galvo is especially useful for fine logos, text, illustrations and patterns on compatible materials such as wood, leather and dark acrylic. Certain painted or coated metal surfaces can also be marked.
You can cut a wooden product with the CO2 laser and then add fine engraving details within the same laser system.
The 20W Diode Galvo Module also provides the required foundation for the additional 30W fiber laser through xTool Laser Swap.
30W Fiber Laser for Permanent Metal Marking
The key feature of this configuration is the 30W Fiber Laser Source.
Fiber laser technology is particularly suitable for directly marking and engraving many metals. It enables durable text, logos, identification codes and patterns without necessarily requiring a coating.
Typical applications include:
Serial numbers and product identification
QR codes and data matrix codes
Stainless steel nameplates and rating plates
Aluminum and other compatible metal components
Tools and technical parts
Personalized metal promotional products
Deeper engravings and decorative relief structures
With a spot size of approximately 0.05 × 0.05 mm and a maximum galvo processing speed of 6,000 mm/s, the fiber laser supports detailed engraving across a relatively large working area.
Results depend on the metal type, surface finish and laser settings.
High-Contrast Marking on Metal
One of the main applications of the 30W fiber laser is creating clear, permanent markings on metal products.
This includes dark markings on compatible metal surfaces, product identification on tools and serial numbers on technical components.
Such markings are useful for product identification, branding, technical labeling and traceability.
Marking contrast and color vary depending on the metal and its surface. Testing the actual material is recommended before starting repeat production.
Deep Engraving and 3D Metal Relief
The 30W fiber laser also supports deeper engraving and three-dimensional relief structures.
By performing multiple passes, material can be removed in a controlled way to create recessed text, logos, patterns and decorative details.
Applications include metal nameplates, technical components, customized products and small production runs.
For dedicated metal embossing, xTool specifies a maximum working area of 415 × 225 mm when using a suitable Dust Hood for Embossing. This accessory is not included as standard in the basic bundle.
Achievable engraving depth depends on material properties, design and processing settings.
30W Fiber vs. 60W MOPA: What's the Difference?
Both fiber and MOPA technology can be used for metal marking and engraving. The main difference lies in the level of control and the intended applications.
| Feature | 30W Fiber | 60W MOPA |
|---|---|---|
| Permanent metal marking | Yes | Yes |
| Serial numbers and identification | Excellent | Excellent |
| Deep metal engraving | Yes | Yes |
| 3D relief engraving | Yes | Advanced capabilities |
| Color marking | Limited, material-dependent | Greater flexibility |
| Pulse control | More limited | Advanced MOPA control |
| Main strength | High-contrast metal marking | Advanced metal processing and color engraving |
If your main focus is permanent metal identification, logos and serial numbers, the X1 Fiber is a logical choice.
For advanced color marking, more demanding relief engraving and greater control over laser parameters, explore the xTool X1 MOPA Bundle.
Three Laser Technologies in One Workflow
The X1 Fiber combines the material versatility of a CO2 laser with high-speed diode engraving and specialized fiber laser processing.
Different laser sources can be used for different processing stages within one machine.
With xTool Laser Swap, the additional fiber laser is connected to the existing galvo system. This eliminates the need for a separate machine for every laser technology.
Laser Swap supports one additional external laser source at a time.
Intelligent Camera System and Autofocus
The xTool X1 features an integrated camera system including:
8MP overview camera
12MP close-up camera
Ranging camera
LiDAR ranging
Autofocus
With xTool Studio, you can prepare designs, position materials and manage cutting or engraving jobs.
Accurate positioning is especially useful for small text, technical markings and identification codes.
