xTool M2 40W Color Print & Cut Bundle – Full-Color Printing and Powerful Laser Cutting

The xTool M2 40W Color Print & Cut Bundle combines two creative production technologies in one machine. The 40W diode laser cuts and engraves wood, dark acrylic, leather and other compatible materials. The included CMYK Inkjet Module also enables full-color printing on suitable surfaces.

This makes the M2 especially interesting for makers, creative businesses, schools and small production companies that want to combine laser cutting with colorful personalized products.

Typical applications include printed wooden decorations, cards, packaging, labels, personalized gifts and creative print-and-cut projects.

What's Included in the M2 40W Color Print & Cut Bundle?

The M2 uses interchangeable processing modules. Printing and laser cutting are performed sequentially, not simultaneously.

The RA3 Lite Rotary Attachment and optional 3W infrared module are not included.

40W Diode Laser for Powerful Cutting

The 40W diode laser offers significantly greater cutting capacity than the 10W and 20W configurations.

Compatible materials include wood, plywood, MDF, leather, cork, paper, cardboard, dark opaque acrylic and bamboo.

According to xTool, the M2 40W can cut up to 15 mm basswood plywood and 11 mm black acrylic under suitable conditions.

The working area measures 426 × 312 mm, with a maximum movement speed of 600 mm/s.

The blue diode laser is not suitable for directly cutting transparent acrylic.

Full-Color CMYK Printing

The main difference from the M2 40W Basic is the included CMYK Inkjet Module.

This module allows you to print colorful images, illustrations, text and patterns on compatible materials.

Applications include:

• Printed labels

• Creative paper and cardboard products

• Stickers using compatible PVC-free materials

• Small personalized production runs

Print quality and adhesion depend on the material, surface finish and settings.

Very smooth or non-absorbent materials such as untreated glass and metal are not automatically suitable for direct inkjet printing. Some surfaces may require a compatible primer or coating.

Print First, Then Cut

A major advantage of the Color Print & Cut Bundle is the ability to combine printing and laser cutting within one machine.

For example, you can print a full-color design onto a suitable sheet, switch from the inkjet module to the 40W laser module and cut the desired shape.

The M2's camera system helps position and align designs for the laser cutting stage.

This allows you to create colorful products with accurate cut contours without needing separate printing and cutting machines.

Important: only use laser-safe materials. Many conventional vinyl stickers contain PVC and must not be laser cut. Choose compatible, verified PVC-free materials.

Dual Cameras and Autofocus

The xTool M2 features an overview camera and close-up camera to help accurately position designs.

This is particularly useful when cutting printed images or engraving small details.

Automatic distance measurement and focusing simplify switching between materials and applications.

xTool Studio is used to prepare designs and control the different modules.

Integrated Air Assist and Safety Features

The M2 features a built-in air pump for air assist during laser processing, eliminating the need for a separate external air assist system.

The enclosed machine includes safety interlocks and is classified as a Class 1 laser device under normal operating conditions.

Suitable extraction or air purification and active supervision remain important during laser cutting.

Expandable with RA3 Lite

If you want to engrave cylindrical products such as tumblers, bottles or compatible mugs, the M2 supports the xTool RA3 Lite Rotary Attachment.

This accessory rotates cylindrical objects during engraving.

The RA3 Lite is not included in this Color Print & Cut Bundle. For a package including the rotary accessory, consider the M2 40W Deluxe Bundle.
